Captain Abdul and Abu came and picked us up made us comfortable then sped out to the north atoll, we then dropped the lures for some trolling had a small fish out but not what I really wanted, we then reeled in and went to the other side of the reef and trolled there until the line went spinning off the reel and I had a good fight with a nice size waahoo all in all a great morning out with a great crew and fast boat, I would definitely recommend these guys and when we come back I’ll be in touch for another fishing trip, also you should sell those hats with your silent hunter design looked cool and I’d of bought one I did mean to ask but forgot

Best experience ever always a great start when you accompanied by a professional crew. The owners / crew being Mr Abdul and Mr Abu when beyond their means to make my day on the water with them a memorable one. They were able to find the perfect spots where the fish were and on the bite.
Going the extra mile being taken to the fish market to experience the guys clean and fillet the days catch and even as far as dropping me off at the hotel which was not part and parcel of the online fishing trip package. You guys are the best will for sure look you up next time I’m in the Maldives for another fishing trip.
Keep up the professional treatment and for making it a day never to be forgotten.

We booked a 5hr trip with Abdul and had great fun fishing time with many reef fish species and casting for GT. I highly recommend booking with captain Abdul.

Me and my brother had an amazing experience on board a nice boat with a friendly, knowledgeable and happy crew. We tried many different techniques and caught a lot of fish guided by the crew. We caught big wahoos and GTs and two species of tuna.
Captain and his crew took us to many different spots and also showed us the beauty of the Maldivian marine life. We were lucky to see turtles, manta rays and dolphins.
Captain and his crew are very professional and also very inviting and really make you feel like you are out fishing with your friends. Highly recommend!

Captain Abdul and the Silent Hunter crew are absolutely dedicated to giving you the experience you are looking for. Days before the trip they were communicating with me to figure out what kind of experience we were looking for. As an avid angler, I wanted to have the ultimate fishing experience that was active (not chasing tuna or marlin for hours).
We deep water jigged for most the day and when the weather changed we adapted to casting into the reef for GTs.
The crew were tirelessly working to help us get on the big fish we were after.
I hooked into a Goliath grouper which tragically ended in a broken line after a long insane fight!
We also went out a second day to fish some more and also swim with the sharks at Vaavu atol. These guys are locals and truly know the area and what they are doing.
They are super friendly, funny, and just great to hang with too. We’d spend all day with these guys even without the fishing. :) And yes they speak English, so no communication issues at all.
Don’t book a trip through your hotel. Book Silent hunter. It’s way cheaper and the experience will be unforgettable. (Just make sure your hotel allows for 3rd party boats to dock on the island and insist on it if they resist).
